Two Mile Run County Park

Lake Justus

Snow, snow & more snow along with cold temperatures & ice seem to be the theme for this winter. The ice on Justus Lake is over 12 inches thick and the ice fishermen are catching lots of fish. Pioneer Flats has been and is excellent for sled riding & tubing.

The Park's Cross Country Ski Trails have recently been groomed & lots of folks are enjoying them. The snowmobile trails are also in good shape and are being utilized on a daily basis.

The Park's Annual Winterfest was held on January 24th with the Venango Fatherhood Initiative. Over 100 folks turned out at Pioneer Flats for the event. The Park's FREE "Learn-To-Ski" Day was also held on January 24th saw 27 folks take advantage of the free ski lessons given by Tambra Sabatini, Mike Henderson & Dan Moore.
